Peggy Creed

Peggy (Dull) Creed, 92, passed away on May 16, 2022, just 4 ½ months after losing the love of her life and husband of 73+ years, Lloyd E. Creed.  Born to Coah and Della Dull, July 10, 1929 in Wichita, KS, Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and brother Howard (Karen) Dull.  Surviving are:  brother Dan (Laura) Dull of Douglass, KS; her four sons – Mike (Shelley) Creed, Lake of the Ozarks, MO; Dave (Shirley) Creed, Wichita, KS; Steve Creed-Wichita; John (Joan) Creed, Loveland, CO; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended-family members.  A natural beauty, Peggy was honored as Wichita East’s Prom Queen (1947), 1948 Parnassus Queen while attending WSU, and as Army Day Queen.  A loving homemaker, Peggy’s greatest joys were serving her family, cheering on her boys, and relaxing in their family cabin in Westcliffe, Colorado.   Visitation to be held on Wednesday, May 25, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. with funeral service beginning at 10:00 am, both at Andover United Methodist Church, 1429 N. Andover Rd., Andover, KS  67002.  Interment will follow at Wichita Park Cemetery.
