Rebecca Balding Conway

Rebecca Balding Conway died Monday, July 18, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She had suffered a stroke.  Becky is survived by her husband, James L. Conway, daughters Sarah Conway Cunningham (Sean) and their sons Charlie and Parker and Katie and her husband Andrew Maddox, her sister Michael Beck and brother John V. Balding.  She was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Sarah Balding, summer residents of Tanglewood Acres since 1963.   

Becky was a long-time cabin owner in Tanglewood and had named it “the home of my heart”.  She also resided in Park City, Utah and Pasadena, CA.  

Born September 21, 1948, she graduated from Kansas University majoring in drama.  She appeared for several summers at Creede Repertory Theater and won a Jefferson Award when working in Chicago.  She starred in “Silent Scream” and “The Boogens”, and had a recurring role in “Charmed”, among other professional appearances on TV, including the movies “The Gathering” and “The Gathering II”.   

Following cremation, a memorial will be held in L.A. in September, and a Celebration of Life in July 2023 in Tanglewood.
